January 3, 2023 at 1:00-2:30 p.m. PST - Medford UCC will be having an ongoing book study and discussion of Cathedral on Fire: A Church Handbook for the Climate Crisis by Brooks Berndt, at Lidgate Hall, 1801 E. January 5, 2023, at 4 p.m. PST - Elders Climate Action is hosting a Zoom Conversation with Authors Madeline Ostrander and Bill McKibben, who will be discussing "what it means to live in America in a time of climate disaster and unruliness—and how we might build resilience and re-examine the nature of home." The discussion will be moderated by Valerie Schloredt from Yes! Magazine. A suggested donation of $10 per session is requested to support ECA's programming and events. Register here.

January 22, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. PST - Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO) is hosting on Zoom an Interfaith Legislative Forum - a panel of legislators discussing their priorities for the 2023 Oregon Legislative Session on topics of interest to the faith community. Legislators - bills they support, the must-do bills for the 2023 Session and the prospects of passage. Following the panel discussion, the Zoom meeting will allow for a half-hour discussion with the legislators. Register here.
