There are many people and organizations in southern Oregon who are already awake to the urgency of the climate emergency and are taking actions every day. So much of media news is negative that it is sometimes a personal challenge to face reality of the challenge and have the courage to take actions and remain hopeful. We will highlight the good.
We will focus education about the climate emergency, positive actions that are being taken now toward sustainability and building supportive relationships.

The climate emergency is complex and there are many voices competing for attention that we sometimes remain frozen, not knowing what actions will have the greatest impact.

In his book Regeneration: Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation, author Paul Hawkin says "most people in the world remain disengaged, and we need a way forward that engages the majority of humanity... in an inclusive and effective strategy... that creates, builds an heals."
